Frequently Asked Questions

Q)  How do I add a discount code?

A)  See diagram below.  Simply type in the code and then click the "add" button to apply the discount.   After clicking "add", you will likely see a little wheel turning under the button --this is the system applying the disount.

Q)  I don't need a full yard, can I order less?

A)  Yes, our minimum order amount is 1/4 (.25) yard!

Q)  Can I order 1/4 yard as a Fat Quarter?

A)  We are unable to offer single fat quarters off the bolt.  However, we are happy to cut a straight 1/4 yard!  (9" X 44")

Q)  How long will it take to process my order?

A)  We know you will love our service!   Fort Worth Fabric Studio will typically ship your order by the next business day, and many orders are shipped out the same day as ordered!

Q)  Do you have a brick & mortar store?

A)  We are an online-only store.

Q)  I live in the DFW area, can I pick up my order to save on shipping charges?

A)  Yes, of course!   We offer local pickup (at your convenience) at our North Richland Hills address.   Just choose "Local Pickup" at checkout and you will not be charged for shipping.   We will email you as soon as the order is ready for pickup, either the same day or next day!

Q)  How wide are the fabrics?

A)  Our fabrics are 42-44 inches wide (varies by manufacturer), unless stated otherwise.  We also stock a nice variety of 106 inch - 108 inch quilt backings.

Q)   Can my order by shipped via UPS rather than USPS?

A)  Yes, we happy to ship via UPS - please add a note on the checkout page that this is your preferred shipping method!   Although we have negotiated rates with UPS, shipping fees will occasionally be higher for smaller parcels.    We will only charge you the rate we pay.

Q)  There is an option for first class shipping at checkout.    Can my order be shipped via first class?

A)  International:   please select the option that fits the amount of yardage in your order. If the incorrect option is inadvertently chosen, we will correct to the proper shipping amount before processing your order.  Typically the rates are affordable and delivery time is often comparable to priority mail.   Orders over 4 yards do not qualify for first class due to weight resrictions set by the USPS.

A)  USA: most yardage over 1.5 yards (44/45" wide) is too heavy for first class mail due to weight restrictions set by the USPS.   If you choose first class postage for an order over 1.5 yards, we will accommodate if the weight of your package is within USPS guidelines - otherwise we will change your shipping option to priority mail.   (Both will require an automatic increase in postage).
